I am a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist working from a clinic in Kings Norton, Birmingham. The clinic is licensed by Birmingham City Council.

I have over 15 years experience of working within the NHS and received acupuncture treatment for over 10 years. Acupuncture has helped me through many life events including the birth of my two children. I decided that I would like to know more about this intriguing therapy that has helped me so much so I took the plunge and enrolled to study at The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa .

I trained over three years at degree level and when I graduated in 2018 I was awarded a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture and received commendation for my clinical work with patients.

My training covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory with a focus on five element acupuncture. This means that my approach is to treat you as an individual, a person, as well as treating your main health condition.

Since qualifying I enjoy expanding my knowledge and have completed extra courses on pain, Babies and Children as well as Mental Health.

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. All members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority which is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers, and is accountable to Parliament.

I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance.
